Christmas Card Making Day

On Saturday we had a lovely Card Making Day where we concentrated on making Christmas cards and a box to put them all in. We made 6 cards in total using a whole range of techniques including embossing, pricking, decoupage and punching. We had a delicious buffet lunch and I made some biscuits and cakes to go with tea and coffee throughout the day. Here's a gallery of the cards that we made.
A big thank you to all the ladies that came along for the day and made it so much fun!

A Special Guest

Today we were lucky enough to have our dear friend, Jane Gill, teaching a flower punching class at the Gallery in our classroom above the shop. We had 9 lovely ladies that came to spend the day with Jane making this card featuring gorgeous sweet peas.

She also gifted to us this beautiful card (in my favourite colours) with the flowers made using a heart punch of all things! I really look forward to Jane's next visit on December 1st as I always love to see the new ideas she comes up with. To find out more about the classes, please visit the classes tab.
