Creative Parchment Cards by Patricia Wing

This is Patricia's 3rd book on card making and she would like to share an extract from the book with you to show you how easy it is to make a cameo centrepiece for a card.

You will need:
Natural parchment
Siesta grid SPGA04
3mm ivory flat-backed pearls
38mm black cameo
Black seed beads
Masking tape
Small embossing tool
PVA glue
Double sided tape
1. Tape the natural parchment over the small daisy design on grid SPGA04 using masking tape.
2. Emboss the linear oval border and the dotted scallops using a small embossing tool.
3. Remove the parchment from the grid and use small scissors to cut out the design just outside the embossed dots.
 4. Use PVA glue to adhere a row of flat backed pearls around the edge of the cameo, being careful to keep the edge of the pearls flush with the back of the cameo.
5. Fix the cameo to the centre of the oval using double sided tape.
6. Use PVA glue to adhere 16 black seed beads between the embossed scallops.

All of Patricia's books and supplies for making the cards are available to purchase from Stoke Gallery and a catalogue is available on request. We offer an efficient, worldwide mail order service.
